At one time highway 99 in Seattle was the place to go for entertainment, this driving range, opened in 1945, is one of the last of those places left, after the many dance halls, bowling alleys and drive-in theaters were demolished.

This great sign can be found along Aurora at the Puetz Driving Range. Puetz now operates several large discount golf equipment superstores, but this was their first home.
Former butchers Al and Pete Puetz founded Puetz Golf in 1945. Pete's son, David Puetz, and his wife, Janet, now own the business.
