This medieval faire runs 2 week-ends in late January - early February at the Alachua County Fairgrounds in Gainesville, Florida.
This was the first time we went to a medieval faire and it was really great. They had a Children's Pavillion Theatre, Gypsy Camp, Target Archery, Dog & Pony Show, Food Court, Sheriff's Encampment, Knight's Encampment, Falconer, Fencing Demo, Tournament Field ( where they did Birds of the Gauntlet, Armour Demonstrations, Jousting, and The Final Battle), they also had a gaint Chess Board where Robin Hood and his Merry Men played The Sheriff in a live chess game (people were the actual chess pieces). There was all kinds of booths with food, drinks, and goodies for sell.
