The first trolley were operating in Santos at the end of the 19th century. Pushed by mulls at first, by the early 1900s they were electronic. Today the trolleys are a tourist attraction. The cars were donated by the city of Porto in Portugal. The trolleys go through downtown. The tracked were doubled in length in 2006.
