This Spring was the last stop on the Trail of Tears in Missouri.
It is also the Beginning of Flat Creek which is the route they had just traveled to here.
This Trail is also known as the Civil War Old Wire Road.
The Spring is on my medium size grade.
It flows all the way to Table Rock Lake and has a very good daily flow.
There is no gauge on this one either.
At one time there use to be a Trail of Tears sign at the Spring but it was not here today hopefully they are redoing it.
Make sure to check out the Old Rock Homestead and Barn just to the south of the Spring.
