Formerly a one-room schoolhouse(circa 1890) and restored in 1994, it is now the Georgia State Cotton Museum and was designated as the state’s official cotton museum by an act of the Georgia Legislature that same year. The Georgia Cotton Museum tells the history of cotton and cotton production through video, displays of equipment, photographs and a knowledgable curator.
