Cloudcroft Ski Resort claims on its website that it is America’s southernmost ski run which isn’t completely true since there are still the runs leading down from Mauna Kea at Hawaii, 913 miles further south.
However, we have no reason to doubt that Cloudcroft is America’s southernmost ski resort.
Since 1963, this resort offers a relaxed atmosphere, beautiful scenery, and great skiing! The slopes at Ski Cloudcroft offer something for everybody, from beginner lessons to expert trails including a full service rental shop now featuring the latest Fischer shaped skis, a retail shop for any last minute needs or a souvenir. The resort also features beginner packages and offer semi private and private ski and snowboard lessons.
We only drove by on beautiful highway 82, but we took time to take these pictures.
