Uncovered by Rene Bach of Philadelphia, the great-great-grandson of Franklin. The work of R.H. Park of Chicago and said at the time to be the finest statue of Franklin in the US. The bronze figure is 9 feet high on a granite pedestal 12 feet high. About 3000 persons attended the ceremony.
