Silver Wings Field is a unique concept in the field of historic preservation.

They are building a complete Cadet training base of the 1940's and 1950's time period.

There will be more than 10 buildings which will be used to tell various stories of different parts of the Flying/Aviation Cadet,NavCad and MarCad training program. There will also be displays of the different wars we fought in from WWII to Vietnam.

It will all be guided.

The Field is grass at the moment but will be updated as funds become available.

This is truly a unique Airport.

Visit Instructions:
You must post at least one photo with your log. You do not have to enter the airport or go through security to log a waymark, as long as you can prove in your photo that you were actually there. Next, write a little about your visit. What were your travel plans? Where are you flying to and from? ect.
