Now this one was a little spooky.
I have been wanting to get over to find the geocache here for a long time and also check out why it was called haunted.
Here is my log from the Geocache:

OK I DID NOT READ UP NOR DO I BELIEVE IN GHOSTS OR ABORITIONS OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT.
I LOVE LOOKING OUT AND HUNTING DOWN LEGENDS OF THE PAST AND PRESENT ESPECIALLY HAUNTED PLACES.
EVERYTHING WAS GOING WELL TODAY ALL DAY LONG.
I WAS AHEAD OF THE WEATHER AND BEAT THE RAIN TO ALL OF THE 9 OTHER CACHES I DID TODAY.
IT WAS SPRINKLING A LITTLE WHEN I GOT HERE AND PARKED JUST PAST THE TURN IN AND PROCEEDED AS USUAL TO THE LITTLE BOX ON THE GPS AND ALL OF THE SUDDEN A LIGHTING STIKE LIKE I HAVE NEVER SEEN OR FELT IT LIT UP THE ENTIRE AREA.
IT SHOOK ME TO MY CORE AND I WONDERED ABOUT IT AND WENT ON........ ONLY 40 FEET TO THE GEOCACHE.
IT THEN STARTED TO RUMBLE DEEPLY MORE AND MORE AS I SIGNED THE LOG AND FINISHED UP THE HIDING OF THE CACHE.
AS YOU PROBABLY KNOW I LIKE BENCHMARKING AND WAYMARKING AS WELL AND THOUGHT I WOULD GET SOME MORE PHOTOS.
WELL I WILL LET YOU BE THE JUDGE OF WHAT YOU SEE.
THERE WAS NO RAIN AT THE TIME AND MY LENS HAD NOTHING ON IT.
I DOUBLE CHECKED AS I CARRY IT COVERED UNTIL I USE IT.
I WILL POST THE BEFORE AND AFTER.
LIKE SOME OF THE STORIES AND LEGENDS IN THESE PARTS SAY, IT WAS LIKE LITTLE WHITE BALLS OF LIGHTS DANCING AROUND THE AREA.
WAS IT THE LIGHTNING?
I JUST DON'T KNOW BUT I DID HAVE TROUBLE AS I TRIED TO LEAVE AS WELL.
THE CAR WAS SITTING THERE JUST FINE AND I GOT IN IT AND IT SANK AND I COULD NOT GO.
WELL I JUST STARTED ROCKING IT BACK AND FORTH TILL I GOT IT LOOSE AND OFF WE WENT.
WELL THATS MY STORY AND I AM STICKING TO IT BELIEVE IT OR NOT.
