This was Livermore's public library from 1911 until Labor Day 1966 when the books were moved to S. Livermore Ave.
The architect for this library was William H. Weeks.
Currently the building is used by the Livermore Art Asso. and also the History Center of the Livermore Heritage Guild. The grounds are upkept by the Parks and Recreation Dept.
