Violet Cemetery also known as the Osceola Grave Yard and God's Acre was founded in 1831. The cemetery is the final of many of the pioneers of area The most famous individual buried in the cemetery is William J. Driver (March 2, 1873 - October 1, 1948) who served 8 terms in the U.S. House of Representatives.
