Water supply for Georgetown, Kentucky is contaminated by human waste. This spring is one of the larger ones in Kentucky. Its location was part of the reason why Georgetown was founded here.

The aquifer begins north of Lexington and emerges from underground here as a natural spring. It serves as the water supply for Georgetown and Scott County. No wonder the water tastes like s*$t
