The 45 acre public park at Barrow in Furness,is a Victorian Park and has always been popular with the people of Barrow and surrounding area,the new refurbishment which cost over 2 million pounds,has restored the park to it's former glory.
The park has long been famous for it's walks and for it's well stocked Green house.
The old cast iron bandstand has also undergone a complete restoration.
The focal point of the park and set in the parks highest position is the Cenotaph war memorial.
