The West Rome opened Friday June 29, 1951. The first movies shown were "Kansas Raiders" a western and "Undertow" an action movie set in Chicago. The drive-in featured a playground, 2 refreshment centers and a patio with outdoor seating. It closed between 1983 and 1984. Nothing remains today. It was torn down to make room for a new shopping center. More information will be added as found.
