The memorial states the following: 1914 - 1919 LET THOSE WHO COME AFTER SEE TO IT THAT THESE NAMES BE NOT FORGOTTEN. The cross is a Celtic design on a stepped plinth. Hargrave church is a Norman one with a unique turret near the tower. Both church and memorial are not very well documented, any extra information will be gratefully received.
