Highgate Hotel, Kendal - Antique Hotels on Waymarking.com

Initially built as the town's doctor's residence in 1769, incorporating a property that stood here. Nowadays a comfortable family run bed and breakfast hotel. Kendal describes itself as the Gateway to the Lakes, and in Cumbria you are never far from the coast, even if some impressive hills are in the way.
