Often it's surprising how little things change in these "then and now" shots. In this set, the differences are significant. In fact the only real clue that it's the same shot are the dormers in the upper left side of both photos.

The pharmacy in the foreground of the old photo has been razed and a post office was put up in its place. The Victorian tower evident behind the pharmacy in the old photo is now gone. The large, box shaped Darress Theater is in the background of both shots.
