Translated, the name of this hotel means "Tower of Arabia". It is an international icon and landmark readily associated with Dubai. This icon of Dubai can be seen from most of Dubai, and from miles away, as this is easily the tallest structure in the general vicinity.
Even though the official hotel rating system does not recognise more than 5 stars, their is little argument that the Burj Al Arab is the best hotel in the world (hence the self-proclaimed 7 stars).
The interior of the hotel is amazing, and this is the worlds only all suite hotel. Each hotel room occupies two floors, with living space on the first floor and sleeping/grooming facilities on the second floor. Each suite also comes with a dedicated butler to cater to the guests needs.
This is also the tallest operating hotel building in the world.
