Jekyll Island is a barrier island on the southeast Georgia coast. At one point it was a vacation playground for the very wealthy, but today is enjoyed by many people. Several miles of beaches, luxury accommodations, a golf course, a water park, and the quiet atmosphere attract many people to relax here.
There is only one road on to the island, and the visitor center is about a mile before reaching the bridge across to Jekyll. Here you can find information about island activities, places to stay, and where to eat. The staff inside is ready to assist with any questions you may have. There are also restrooms if they're needed.
Hours of Operation: 9 AM to 5 PM daily
Public Washrooms: Mens and Womens Only
Snacks/Drinks at the facility: Yes - Vending Only
