If hiking is your thing, you'll want to come to Devil's Hole State Park. It's located along the Niagara Gorge and offers two options for two different types of trails. The upper rim trail heads south from the park along the rim of the gorge and it generally flat. The other option is to head north 1/8 mile and descend a set of stairs 300' into gorge below. Once at the bottom, you can head either north for a short distance or south towards Whirlpool State Park. I always see plenty of fisherman down here so there must be good fishing opportunities as well.
Back on top, there is one picnic pavilion and a few picnic tables with grills for use. Public restrooms are located a short distance away from the picnicing/parking area near the gorge overlook.
Park Type: Day Use
