As part of Silverton's ongoing urban renewal, they commissioned copies of Rockwell's classic series on the 50th anniversary of their creation (1993). Using the flat walls of the refurbished former Safeway, each mural is about 12 feet high by eight feet wide. From the proper angle (and assuming no SUVs are in the way), these murals can be seen clearly from 1/4 of a mile away.
