The shoe tree is located at the intersection of Ridge Road and Berkley Road in Highland Park. The tree and surrounding bushes has several pairs of shoes, mostly athletic shoes of various types. The tree appears to be alive but hard to tell at this time of year. To visit the shoe tree it is best to park at the parking area for Berkley Prairie Forest Preserve a a couple hundred feet to the north on Ridge Road. The shoe tree is listed on Roadside America website
