Just south of the main hotel strip of Cancún, Mexico, lies an all-inclusive resort called the Moon Palace. Part of the Palace Hotels group, it lies on the beach and has many of the amenities common to resorts of the area. One of these includes a giant outdoor game of chess in the southern portion of the resort (in the Nizuc section).
