Refurbished in February 2005, this old Coaching Inn has been licensed since 1798 and there used to be a toll gate situated just down the road. During the winter months two log burning fires are lit. This means you will never feel the cold in the Winter. During Summer you can relax in the rear beer garden or on the patio to soak up the sun. Food is served throughout the pub from a main menu or daily specials board. Your meal can be accompanied by a glass or bottle of wine from the extensive wine list and finished off with a speciality coffee such as a liqueur or latté. The weekly quiz is popular and the pub is often packed on this night.
