This waymark is part of the Ireland passive GPS station network (#D001) and consists of a small brass rivet set on an outcropping bed of rock. The station was originally surrounded by a white triangle which is now indistinguishable from the rock. The station is located approx 0.5km NE of the North end of the runway at Carrickfinn Airport.
