LOCATION.-- in NE1/4 sec.1, T.11 S., R.27 E., Putnam County, Hydrologic Unit 03080103, on bridge pile near left bank of the U.S. Highway 17 bridge, 0.3 mi upstream from Murphy Creek, 0.8 mi upstream from mouth, 2.4 mi northeast of Satsuma, and 3.1 mi southwest of San Mateo.
GAGE.--Water-stage recorder, acoustic velocity meter and data-collection platform. Datum of gage is 10.00 ft below NGVD of 1929. Prior to July 21, 1987, at site 200 ft downstream at present datum.
