This one we were doing the Nearby CORS benchmark.
We had just done the one at the FAA and went through a shakedown by the local authorities.
They stopped us and detained us for about 45 minutes.
I am glad I had my BLM ID and NGS backing.
I could have never explained it any other way that would have been satisfactory.
I even recieved a call from the head of BLM for our State asking what I was doing and to verify all the details.
Eveything turned out just fine in the end when my NGS report included the details of why I was there.
