Every fall the Village of Dublin gets this hill ready in anticipation of some snow. Some years sledding is abundant, others the hill remains an unused green grassy knoll.
During the spring and summer the area isn't used for much of anything. In the early fall the city sets up straw bales and signs to convert it into a sledding hill. Driving by here every day I've noticed that it is a very popular destination when it snows. There have been times that all the parking spots in the park are full and people begin to park along the roadside. The hill isn't terribly steep, however it is long so it would seem to give a long ride to the bottom.
