Pensacola's Wall South, is the only Permanent Memorial outside of Washington D.C. to list the names of all the men and women killed or missing from the Vietnam war.

The Wall South is located off Bayfront Parkway in Pensacola, FL. The memorial is hard to spot from the road, just keep an eye out for the Huey helicopter on display.
We stopped here Thanksgiving weekend 2007. That's my sailor son and one of his shipmates looking at The Wall. They had no idea it was here. They are stationed at Pensacola NAS - both are air support. My son is a PR and his buddy - an AO.
They saw the Huey as we pulled up....they were surprised to walk over the hill and see this. It took our breath away. There were letters and momentos lining the front of the wall. One of the most striking were 3 shot glasses half full with a letter folded up neatly behind the glasses. One more toast to fallen or missing brothers-in-arms. God Bless them.
