Lockport Heritage Park is home to the Kenosewun (Cree for "there are many fishes") Museum, which houses archaeological exhibits of Aboriginal horticulture artifacts, and audiovisual presentations on Aboriginal history and the history of Lockport.

There are displays of excavated Aboriginal artifacts dating back over 3,000 years. The dig unearthed carbonized corn from 1400s revealing that this is the earliest known area of farming on the Canadian Prairies.
