The Cohutta was located 12 miles North of Calhoun and 5 miles south of Dalton, Georgia on US41 (Dixie Highway) I have not been able to find out much about this DI. I think a trip to the Dalton library might offer more information.
The Cohutta opened Thur, July 15, 1948 at 8:00pm. The last movie listing found was on Feb 1951.
Using aerial photos and information from other landmarks in the area we have determined where it was actually located.
