This bizarre monument may be mistaken for just another gravestone in the middle of this fansinating cemetery, but closer examination reveals that it is a memorial to those who served in the Pennsylvania Militia in the Revolutionary War. More specifically it is a memorial to the McClure family of veterans. Five of the ten veterans of the American Revolutionary War who are buried in this cemetery are listed on this memorial:

John McClure
William McClure
George McClure
Daniel McClure
James Scott

All of the specific graves are marked with modern and origional markers in most cases.

Mr. Scott is listed on this memorial becasue he was maried to Jane McClure.
Type of Memorial: Monument
