This historic admiralty pattern anchor, salvaged from Esquimalt Harbour, was donated by the CFB Esquimalt naval and military museum for the rededication ceremony. It has retained its strenth of purpose as does the bond between the HMCS Malahat and the City of Victoria. Dedicated to the City of Victoria in celebration of the 75th anniversary of the Canadian Navy by the HMCS Malahat on 21 April 1985 and rededicated 3rd of May 1998 in celebration of the Naval Reserves 75th anniversary.
