A police presence was recently increased at the park and in the immediate area as juvenile vandals laid waste to this piece of land as well as others within the community. While I was there geocaching, I removed a lot of garbage and placed it in the garbage can 20 feet away.
Within this park is a beautiful fountain (waymarked), an awesome candy store next door and the municipal post office (waymarked) across the street. There are benches to relax and at the far end there is a memorial dedicated to the faithful service of David H. Bartine, MD, 1861-1901
