Consisting of a chancel, nave, north aisle with vestry, south aisle, west tower and south porch the church is a typical one rebuilt in the 14th century.
Ten years after this rebuilding took place the north aisle with the base of a tower at its west end followed; this plan of action was abandoned, however, as one was built at the west end of the nave instead.
