The Etowah Memorial Bridge crosses the Coosa River in Gadsden, AL. The bridge was opened in 1927 and is dedicated to the memory of the Etowah County World War (World War I) heroes who made the supreme sacrifice for the country.

The plaque featured in the waymark is located on the north west end of the bridge.

Parking is available in downtown Gadsden on the west approach to the bridge. Gadsden City Hall is located next to the bridge. Parking is also available behind city hall.
