The interpretive has on overview of the whole Journey but specializes in the time spent at Fort Mandan during the winter of 1804- 1805. Exhibits include many Native American artifacts. The museum also has a display of Karl Bodmer's watercolors depicting Upper Midwest Indian cultures.
