Making our way around Saginaw, MI. we came upon the Japanese Cultural Center and Tea House. Unfortunately, it was closed, however there was a crew working on the roof of the Tea House.
Finding an errant roofing hammer, I walked to the tea house and yelled up "Hey you guys missing a hammer?" I got to walk around some after that, and even found a Peace Pole!
The Japanese Cultural Center, comprised of the tea house and garden, was established as a symbol of friendship and cultural exchange with Saginaw's Sister City, Tokushima, Japan.
