This suspension bridge was intially built by the WPA during the Great Depressionin 1933. The original concrete towers still stand but the steel cables and planks have since been rebuilt. The bridge spans 120 feet across a steephead ravine with a spring fed creek called The Whitewater Branch flowing beneath. For more information on the State Park you can visit (
