Spring Creek orginates from a group of springs and has a total length of about 2.5 miles. Due to its short length and being spring fed it has a stable flow ranging from about 275 to 300 cubic feet per second at its mouth.
The Williamson River begins about 28 miles to the east-northeast but travels over 60 miles to reach this point, along the way passing through Klamath Marsh. After another 16 miles of flow to the south-southeast the river enters Upper Klamath Lake.
To reach the confluence of Spring Creek with the Williamson River, park in the Day Use Area of Collier State Park across U.S. Hwy 97 from the museum. Follow the trail east about a quarter mile to the confluence.
