This fountain, a revered symbol of Pittsburgh, can be found in Point State Park. Since it's open space here with no hiding places, and because geocaches in State Parks require a permit, this is absolutely the perfect candidate for a waymark. The fountain can shoot up to 200 feet in the air, but is computer-controlled so that on windy days, the height is adjusted so as not to rain all over the park. The fountain draws a maximum of 6,000 gallons of water per minute from a hidden underground "fourth river" -- an aquifer flowing well underneath the three famous rivers. Come visit the spot where the Allegheny and the Monongahela join together to form the mighty Ohio, and see one of the world's most spectacular fountains.
