Description of Memorial: The memorial is located at the edge of Veterans Memorial Park. It is backed by a line of trees. The memorial consists of a large upright stone marker with two metal plaques affixed to it. The shape of the marker reminds me of a castle crenelation, but I'm not sure if that is what the original artist/designer intended.
