My involvement with X-Treme Fear goes back to 2004 (when it was "Haunted Forest", then "Forest of Horror") and was the first haunted attraction I began photographing.

Size: I would rate this attraction's size as being right between a small trail attraction and large regional attractions. This attraction has built up over the years.

Scenes: Scenes are separated by a twenty to thirty yard walk in the woods, sometimes less. There are more than thirty scenes and it seems 50-75% change every year. Some scenes are as follows: dark maze (no shock panels), clowns, electrocution, butcher, empty living room, graveyard, various animals in the woods, a jungle scene, a living room with dead people, chainsaw, Jason, some creature, cannibal's oven, woman at well, another creature, Freddy, mine elevator, coffin, vortex, bus (Jeepers Creepers), large pirate ship, and even more chainsaws.

Main Scene: Deejay lights, music, lasers, and a flare is used to accent this. Quite easily the most sophisticated setup I have seen in any haunted attraction I have photographed. This Freddy is equipped with electric claws (the ones that spark when they touch a fence or metal).

Note: Sister attraction to Castle of Horror.
