This is a State Highway Commission benchmark with the following stamped on it:State Highway Comm Benchmark.To get to this benchmark from Helena,go south out of town on Interstate 15 for approximately 7-8 miles.The benchmark is located about 20 feet west of the west edge of the southbound lane and about 2 feet east of a fence.It sits on the top of a 3 ft. tall concrete post.
