DESCRIBED BY NATIONAL GEODETIC SURVEY 1970 24.1 MI NE FROM BLACK ROCK. 24.1 MILES NORTHEAST ALONG THE UNION PACIFIC RAILROAD FROM THE STATION AT BLACK ROCK, 49 1/2 FEET EAST-NORTHEAST OF THE FIRST POLE SOUTHWEST OF MILEPOLE 623.50, 54.63 FEET WEST-NORTHWEST OF THE NEAR RAIL, 63 FEET EAST-SOUTHEAST OF THE CENTER LINE OF STATE HIGHWAY 257, 49.35 FEET NORTHEAST OF BENCH MARK M 4, 24.27 FEET EAST-SOUTHEAST OF THE STATION, 36.2 FEET EAST-SOUTHEAST OF A FENCE, 1.8 FEET SOUTH OF A WITNESS POST, ABOUT 1 FOOT HIGHER THAN THE TRACK, AND SET IN THE TOP OF A CONCRETE POST PROJECTING 0.3 FOOT ABOVE THE GROUND.
