Take a ride on the Safari train at the Milwaukee County Zoo. On your seven minute train trip through the Zoo grounds, you'll ride through the woods, meadows, cross over a creek, go around Lake Evinrude, and see some of the zoo animals.
During the summer months you'll most likely see the steam engine. At busier times both the steam engine and diesel engine will be running.
Monday – Saturday: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Sundays and Holidays: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The train is seasonal and runs from May through October, weather permitting.
