The Eastern Cascades Model Railroad Club consists of two divisions, the HO scale layout in the clubhouse and the Big Scale Division on the grounds surrounding the clubhouse.

The original HO scale layout was begun in 1989 and was relocated to the current clubhouse in 1994. The current layout contains nearly 2000 feet of track. The Big Scale Division (Central Oregon Area Live Steamers) began construction of the outdoor large-scale layout in 1998 and in September 2002 the main line was completed, nearly 1200 feet. The club has weekly meetings and an annual public open house which includes rides on the Big Scale Division.
