The All America Rose Selection Garden at the Chattanooga Choo Choo Hotel and Resort. It is available for public viewing for free and does not require a night's stay to gain access.

Roses comprise a large part of the Formal Gardens. With over 500 roses, this splendid outdoor area is a colorful sight to behold from spring through the late fall. The rose garden at the Choo Choo is the only garden in the state of Tennessee designated as an All American Rose Selection Garden. The AARS garden previews the All-American roses to the public before commercial availability the following year. Other highlights include a collection of All-American roses from the 1940's (a significant era in history because of the railroading boom that sparked the Choo Choo's international notoriety), a featured rose called Gruss an Aachen (whose introduction date corresponds with the railroad station's dedication) and separate displays of miniature and climbing roses.

These gardens are best viewed during daytime hours.
