This mill was already mentioned in the 14th century and formed for the longest of times a unity with the House "Welten". Currently the mill consists of a one story long stretched floor, under a mansarde roof, a tower and milling part.
The american chestnut trees around the mill are planted in 1880.
A part of the mill is inhabited now. The mill is back in use since the restoration in 1982 and is open to the public during the millingdays
