This fine looking bell is located in downtown Auburn behind the iron fence of Auburn State Prison. The wooden structure that supports the bell indicates it was made in 1817. A close up inspection of the bell for any inscriptions or other information is not available, as this area is off limits to the public. However, viewing the bell is easy enough through the iron fence.
